Awards in each category include first, second and third prizes. The Jurors also choose a Best of Show. There are cash awards for First Prize winners and for Best of Show.
There is a Party
The Friday evening reception draws many visitors. There is music, refreshment, and ample opportunity for artists to discuss their work with the curious and interested.
Gift Shop
This gift shop is open only during the St. Stephen's Art Show. Notecards, prints, and other items handmade by Colorado artists. A wonderful opportunity to find a perfect and unique gift.
Gift shop entries are also juried into the show by a committee of artists. However it is not necessary to have art work in the show to participate in the gift shop.
Demos and Classes
Before and during the show, artists offer demonstrations and classes. Beginners and advanced students are welcome. Some are free and some are fee-based. Some require pre-registration. Be sure to take a look at our offerings.
Payment and Commission
All sales in the show and gift shop are managed at the sales desk in the Gift Shop. Sales tax is collected and paid to the State, and artists receive payment for sold items less a 20% commission a few days after the show.
